Isn't there a special steel wool that can also be used?

I've used both the P21S metal polish and Eagle One NEVR DULL on chrome exhaust tips - they appear to be very similar chemically (they smell identical, IMO), and both give similarly good results. The NEVR DULL is already a pre-treated wadding polish that comes in a small can - the P21S is a paste that you'll need to apply with a cloth of some sort. Good luck!

off-topic, but I recently placed an order with Detailed Image - Greg's customer service is outstanding, their products are top-notch, and ordering and shipping was extremely easy and fast. I rate them A++, and will not hesitate to order from them again when future detailing supplies and/or equipment is needed.

I would first clean it with regular soap and water to remove loose contaminants, then I would use a metal polish next. The P21S Finish Restorer is a great product for deep cleaning exhaust tips, wheels (metal and clear coated), metals, etc. This helps get deep in to the metals surface and remove contaminants, oxidation, etc and bring back that deep shine. I apply a small drop to a two sided microfiber polishing towel and buff it on and off. If I can help you any further with this process or any part of your detailing routine please let me know.

Barracuda, that second picture was a little hard to see and off at an angle. I’d love to see one at the same angle as the before if it’s possible.

I use Meguiar's Gold with Steel Wool #000, and it works like a charm.

Never Dull for the rough stuff, then finish with Wenol Metal polish, buff to a shine.
