Looks great. I'm trying to clean up swirls on my 2007 SL55 that is black. I'm using a porter cable XP with M105 and WG total swirl remover and I'm having a hard time around the decals and the bumper in the back, any tips, did you remove any emblems? Thanks

sorry for not reply you earlier, I'm working on a new toy.

you can repeat the step at least one more time prior to use the next polisher.

appropiate polishing pad is needed for better results. also PC XP is slower than the Flex and takes longer to get great results.

bumpers as above.

I didn't remove the emblem, just be carefull on the corners.

prior to do my car detailing I did search/read/saw different videos posted from detailing sponsors. There's a lot of info.

I will recommend it, my SL interiors are in great shape and hope to keep them like that. I do apply Leatherrique at least 3 times a year.

will have to take pic's and posted tomorrow.

how did you do the engine? I've been afraid of getting the electronics wet. Great looking results!

engine detailing was done with P21S Total Auto Wash then 303 Aerospace Protectant.

there's a LOT of info & video from our Detailing forum sponsors. search for them.

here's 2 links that you can spend one day completely reading on how to do it.

www.detailedimage.com/Auto-Detailing-Guide

http://www.detailersdomain.wordpress...tegory/how-tos

the above sponsor does actually likes to share their passion about cars.

just start reading & viewing videos and enjoy.

I bought all items/products at www.detailedimage.com, however www.detailersdomain.com does also has a good reputation at this site. Look for the best deal and email this sellers if you have any questions.
