Talking How do you keep the Leather in a Matt finish condition?

How do you keep the Leather in a Matt finish condition, like when you first got your car. I don't like it shiny.

Using a leather conditioner/preserver like Lexol or the stuff I have switched to from Griot's Garage will return the finish to the original look if buffed off properly. However, I have found that with extensive use, the leather surface will become "burnished" by your butt sliding around as you get in and out. This will add the unwanted shine to the leather finish. I have found this to be so with the leather in my daily driver (Nissan Pathfinder). The conditioner will dull the shine, but after about a week of use, the shine begins to return. Granted, the leather finish on the Mercedes seats is duller than on the Nissan to begin with, but I fear that in time it will begin to become "butt polished" too.

Where can you buy either, I live in London and travel to LA (Irvine) often for short periods. Shops or Internet?

Many Thanks

Nick,
I believe Lexol is available at any good auto suppy house. The Griot's stuff is only obtainable from them mailorder through their website or if you happen to be in Tacoma, Washinton.

Lexol is good, but the smell is not. I have since switched to Pinnacle, which works equally as well, but it smells much nicer. Pinnacle also leaves a matte finish, whereas Lexol will be more shiny.
