Car Wash after Zaino
Has anyone used a "regular" car wash product (w/ or w/out wax), or anything else besides Zaino's Car Wash Shampoo (I cannot remember its exact name) after polishing his car with Zaino?
Any "side effects" detected on the car's paint?

With the minimal cost of the Zaino car wash and the maximum effort of building up the Z2 coats, I wouldn't take a chance of using some other product with an incompatible formulation.

I totally agree with you, but I was not aware that you are suppossed to wash your car using only the Zaino shampoo. Thus, I bought only ZFX, Z-2, and Z-5.
I bought them when I was in the US and unfortunately, there is no store selling Zaino products in my country (Cyprus)

Maybe just get a wash without wax, so the z2 and z5 will be able to bond to the existing zaino with no interference.
I don't know if Zaino ships internationally, but if you have to have it, PM me and maybe my local distributer or I can work something out.

Zaino claims that using thier car wash helps to keep the luster by adding to the topcoat (Z2) while washing. Honestly, as much as I love Zaino Car Wash, you will be ok using any commercially avaialbe car wash that has a balanced PH level and is made not to strip wax while washing.

ima55r2,
thanx for the offer but I don't think it worth the effort or the money.
I next "venture" is to buy the Expression front bumper, which costs around $900, and a radar detector. I hope they can ship it to Cyprus.
You are lucky... everything is so much cheaper in the U.S.

I don't know how long you have been using Zaino, but I'm on my fourth bottle of Z2 in 12 months... and I apply it in really thin coats. It is a little addictive. So if you ever need some supplies, let me know because shipping 5 pounds by a slow boat takes 4 to 6 weeks and costs $18.25.

Thanx for the offer and the info.
I totally agree with you... Zion is very addictive. Personally, it exceeded my expectations considering I have a light-color paint (cubanite silver (code 732); I think its called pewter in the US.)
Question: How many coats, on average, do you do a month? 6?
