Lubricating / Treating Door Seals
I see no recommendation from MB to lubricate or otherwise maintain the door seals in the regular maintenance of my W212 2015 E250 BT.
Does anybody use any products on the door seals to maintain and/or clean the material to ensure a good seal and prevent damage? Thanks very much for any advice.

USe armor all type products White milky
First clean with cleaner like 409, or dawn and water....something not too harsh
then dry
Spray the product on... let sit few mins
then wipe off excess..
DONE.

BMW made a fortune bottling some armor all likeproduct and called it gummi phledge and sold it thru its dealers for door seals and other rubber.
First clean with cleaner like 409, or dawn and water....something not too harsh

Do not use Armor All! Armor All uses petroleum distillates which do make the surface of your vinyl and rubber look slick and shiny, but over time it dries them out. Aerospace 303 Protectant is what I use on all things rubber and plastic. It is simply the most versatile detailing product I own. Form the dashboard to seats, interior plastic, exterior trim and on and on. 303 will brighten the material and keep it moist and protected.

I’ve ordered Gummi Pflege from Nextzett. I also messaged them and they recommended their Plastic Deep Cleaner to clean the seals before treatment.

This is the only lubricant recommended by MB. The video is for a VW, but the application is exactly the same.
This stuff is ridiculously expensive, but you can do at least 2 full treatments on an SL with one bottle. Took me about 30 minutes,

Armor all is like 303...
go get MSDS and compare as they all hide ingredients and that is best way to compare...
by law they have to provide MSDS

I received the Gummi Pflege and Plastic Deep Cleaner from Nextzett. Cleaned and lubricated my inner and outer door seals and trunk seals. Easy to use and I think there is actually a small reduction in cabin noise. Happy with the products and will continue to use them on a regular basis.
The Plastic Deep Cleaner has a very strong cinnamon smell though... Not sure if I would use extensively inside the cabin due to that.

I have stumbled across the DuPont Krytox line of lubricants as I try to eliminate plastic-on-plastic rattles and squeaks. I have also read that Krytox can be used for seals. Any experience with that here? I have Krytox GPL-205 as well as Mercedes 000 989 35 60 Special sliding compound, spray which I believe is Krytox in an aerosol carrier.
