How do I re-set service interval
Hi All,
I just did my first oil change on Wifey's car that I got Monday. Not knowing the service history I thought it would be prudent to at least get that done.
I did re set the interval on since last service. Looks like eithe the last guy hadn't serviced it in 15,000 miles or the guy didn't know how to reset the computer.
Is there a way to reset the Service C light. I'm aware of the C service from PDF on here.

Thanks Marc,
Appreciate response. I probably should have done some researching before posting.
I found this for an 07, wondering if the procedure is the same across the line?
2007 MB FSS Reset:
-Switch ignition on (position one);-Outside temperature display;
-Press the trip odometer reset knob three times consecutively (Voltage display appears);-Select the Service menu with the + or –button;
-Service indicator displays items (1 –14);-Press the menu systems button until the outside temperature display appears."

Thanks Marc for taking time to do that.
I have a brother up your way in North York. Think you are a bit further west.
I just picks up the Bluetec and learning the ends and outs. Coming from and still have VW Passat TDI
Thanks again.

Well I followed the procedure exactly as described by Marc and above video and I couldn't get the reset.
For some reason after pressing button in dash three time in succession I couldn't get the 12V screen to pop up.
Thus I couldn't advance .
So I'm wondering if there's some other setting or folder the computer is supposed to be at before I commence the reset?
Chris
