The car was engine failure, so it is possible to open a full rebuild...

OK I see what you mean.

I would definitely like to learn more about his project, which looks like W211 Wagon 4Matic with a damaged V6 Diesel engine. (I did not know they made W211 models with 4Matic and V6 Diesel engine - inline 6 yes)

What year car is it?

And then come on ..a little tuning..

right:original
left : modified non original piston .. to lower compression, and + 1mm bore ...to high turbo boost..

Too small pictures to see any difference, but lowering the compression is detuning.

He lowered the compression so he can run a lot more boost through it. Machining the lip from the bowl is standard practice with diesel guys who are looking for power gains.

No turbo engine is here detuning.. but this is a turbo engine...the compression should be reduced.. if you have more turbo pressure..
also apparent from the data provided by the factory...the higher the output..the smaller the compression..because of the surge..
as well as 84 gti

The engine it was a little bit further forward, but I'll take some pictures later...

W211 is a sedan. S211 is station wagon. There is no w211 wagon, or any chassis, that's simply an s211.
