After almost 3 years with single post, not likely OP will read it.
His results are very good and engine is amazingly healthy.
Im asking because the guy that make the scan told me that i need to replace injector 2 because of leeking fuel. I have also the problem with black smoke. He told me that injector 2 is leaking fuel according to graph. If you can give me some advice i'll be thankfull.
I would look for other problems at 320,000 K as the advice reads on line under the rail pressure " if the quantity is +5mm then replace" one of mine was and still is +1.0 with no more smoke after Turbo Cartridge replacement see above.
The Turbo problem did not show a fault on MB DAS testing
Quality correction is not showing alarming data, as Ray reported back, there might be several symptoms that can have similar results and even modern car computer can be big help in troubleshooting, it will not turn the wrenches for you.
If injector is in doubt, I would send it for testing, or at high mileage just replace it.
Funny Russian mechanic is using Fahrenheit.
I replaced all jets and retaining nuts on injectors as they were all working but still smoked when you tried to accelerate.
Refurbished high pressure pump, bypassed EGR and MAF renewed all wiring on the top of motor still smoked.
Replaced fuel sensors and return valve and yes still smoked, the Turbo cartridge fixed it for me you may see in photo after 320,000 k the spindle was blue from heat.
Hope this helps 🚙
I'have changed fuel pressure regulator already. I'll make test because the turbo have 1-2 mm moving when you touch the propeller. Also the egr valve is stuck a little bitt open. Thank you guys. I will solve the first problem with change the egr and i will proceed after that with another diagnostic.
Ps-its not russian guy, the car is in Bulgaria. Cheers
PS be sure to set stop on the Turbo actuator at the same measurement as the old one this is important.
Thank you, i will start with the turbo then. Can you give me some information how to bypass the EGR. I tried to take off the vacuum hose for the egr, but then the turbo stops working.
Here is some information EGR that I followed.
This is a UK site and there are more diesels in Europe not as many in US so more posts I have found. If you do the EGR mod you will not have to change the EGR only clean and make sure it is closed then remove the Vac hose and plug to seal so all others work this is in case the transducer leaks as mine did. https://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/index.php?threads/disabling-egr.68928/
