2006 E320 CDI

Dim Right Tail lights-E320 cdi-2006

2006 E320 CDI-The right rear tail lights are dim and I don't find a ground connection. What else to check that could cause this.

What you call dim?
From what I remember 2006 tails operate at 6V and only turning the fogs gives them 12V

When all lights are on the right rear tail light is not as bright and should be as bright as the left tail light.

Sounds like you have fog lights activated, therefore the difference.

NO, When all the lights are on in the last week were fine.

I think your instincts about a ground problem are good. I would find the ground to that light and make sure it is good. You might need an electrical diagram to find the ground location.

An electrical diag would help tremendously.

I suspect if the light was dimmer that it was supposed to be you'd be getting a bulb out warning. Have you confirmed that the rear fog light is turned off? Tail (marker) lights are not that bright. The rear fog is about the same brightness as a brake light.
