Help me identify this leak.

With the sudden cold front and large drop in temperatures my 2015 GL350 seems to have developed a slow leak. The leak will subside once the car has warmed up. Smells like diesel, so I investigated and found this, looks like a hose and clamp but without the hours to look through manuals I hoped somebody could help me identify.

Seems like the hose itself has failed. In your picture, it appears to have age/heat cracks in it. It's also interesting to see the one on the right doesn't have the extra covering on the outside, indicating that it may have been monkeyed with at some point in the past.

Huh. Yeah good point. Should be a reasonably straightforward replacement just got to get the correct part.

At 9 yo mark it is good time to replace them. You seem to have metal Tee what is good as plastic ones are easy to break.
Here is good deal on tool if you don't have it already.

Yeah I’m currently trying to wiggle the line out from the holder between the filter and the sensor.
I was hoping it was the short side but it seems to be the long

I ended up using some screw clamps from Autozone as the crimped ones were not reusable. Seems to be pretty solid and leak free but I’ll have to keep an eye on it.

Oetiker clamps (the crimp ones you're referring to) are never reusable - one time only. But they clamp very nicely - better than worm gear clamps - don't damage the rubber the way worm gear (especially cheapier ones) do.. and they look nice, too If you felt the need, you can buy them and the special pliers, as well. They're readily available. Worm gears are adequate, though.

Yep these are what I ended up using.
Anybody know the pressure on the lines between the filter and high pressure pump?
