E550 Coupe "DYNO"
Im sure a lot of people are waiting for this. its spring time and i want to have some work done so I decided to get it dynoed to see what numbers its doing before i start work (chip/Exhaust/maybe turbo ).
So i called a local dyno and below you will see the pics. after all the hook ups it was time. with traction off we started, the craziest thing started happening the car wouldn't let us go kept shut it down, it seemed like traction was still taking over. so i looked in the book and nothing on how to completely disable it (maybe removing a fuse) but there was nothing to help. So the dyno owner decide to call his friend at MB and he told him how to do it. I looked over his shoulder when he did it and i thought i remembered but couldn't duplicate it. ( push the start/stop 3 times then hold ok with call button) anyways the point is that with this little hack it allows you to go into some menu and within theres a option for dyno mode. I hope someone knows what im talking about because i would like to get back in there and see what else is there.
sorry about the long post , enjoy the pics.
btw the car is 2010 e550c (prime edition "canada" only 50 made) no idea what it is for the U.S but i had no choice on anything the car comes that way (color/interior options) i guess to some its known as the DESIGNO or something. original rims are in storage.

To get into dyno mode, insert your key and turn it only 1 click (if you have Keyless Go, press the button once, foot off the brake). On the mileage screen press and hold OK and Answer Call button simultaneously. You have to either press down accept call and then OK and then hold them pressed or vice versa.

329 hp at the wheels... for kicks, I multiplied that by 16%, a manual transmission drivetrain loss number used for another sports car I was intimate with, and VOILA ! 382 hp !
Good numbers.
Good numbers.

Actually that's very little drivetrain loss for an Auto. E63's are only putting out like 420 or something to the wheels if I remember correctly, that's a TON of drivetrain loss.

dont worry about the lines. i dont think the lines even match the run as the operator deleted previous runs because we were getting cut off from the traction . but its the numbers i was after as a base so now when work begins at least i know where i started..
