Nice images Dr-Nab. I had looked at your postings while waiting on delivery of mine. Some nice mods... I kind of run stock most of the time.

I have been driving the brand since 1977 and feel they are into another streak of design and quality supremacy. The Cab has such great lines.

Thanks I like the colour combination of yours, the roof looks great - I thought about having the same roof/leather but because I hadn't seen pictures and the dealership didn't have anything other than the samples from the brochure I stuck to white with red leather & black roof!

Thanks. You have a great combo and the top on the Cab is so well designed and any of the three top colors complement the base coat of the body. The Beige top was on a stock car with all the other options I wanted, but if I had a choice I may have selected the Black. The Beige is really a dark beige and close to the Mocha of the interior.

Looks like the new cabrio builds are no longer using the hockey stick LED's. Is MB using the straight LED lights on C, E, CLS & S models now?

That is my understanding... my build was Feb 8, 2011. I see many of the straight LED's now on a variety of models.

On the models with the AMG bumpers they are still using the hockey stick LEDs

May be a Canadian/US package choice or different stock for the US build market. I did see an item that MB was changing their supplier for the LED's and that starting with production in late 2010 or early 2011 they would be using the straight LED's as others ran out of stock.

MB is confusing when it comes to production line changes...some it announces and other it just makes the change.

I really don't have a preference... my 2010 Sedan had the hockey sticks and they looked nice as do the straight ones.
