E 350 coupe Lowering Springs??
Greetings all..just slapped 20 inch wheels on my coupe, with 245/35/20 F and 275/30/20 rears. Love it, but would like a nice 1.5 inch drop would be perfection. What springs are recommended? PS in the past with my old benzes, ive used eibach pro kits and was not impressed at all (is it me or does the eibach pro have the least of all drops of any springs, it always adverts 1.2 inch, but I always get like .5 inch? I digress)
Any input would be great...especially input from any resellers I can buy a set from.

h&r and also has applications for the e350 and e550 coupe.
just noticed that you were able to put 245/35/20 up front. did you not have a problem with the strut perch? i wanted to put a 245 up front also, but even with a 235 i'm running very close to that perch. my shop said they could bang and bend it slightly out the way, but i declined.
i know some tires are less round, maybe the brand tire you used? good luck and would love to know your set up in terms of wheels, offsets, and tire size/brand. thanks.

cal, thanks for the response. To clarify, I am running 245 30 front, and 285 25 rear (sorry for the posted numbers they were some previous sizes I was toying with)
I have a 20 by 8.5 f and 20 by 10 rear. The setup as is does not hit the strut perch. I am wearing nitto invos. Great ride btw, just needs to be lowered.

sorry vroom I dont
Gav, was the drop with eibach sufficient enough for you? My past experience with other cars and eibachs I was always unhappy with the amount of drop. Please advise. My choices are Eibach (1 inch claimed), H&R, (1inch claimed), or MEC Designs (1.2 inch claimed)

pics before and after...
20 by 8.5 F 245 30 20
20 by 10 R 285 25 20
great ride, no mods yet, fits perfectly, hope this helps those considering 20 inch wheels on the E coupe.
I would appreciate opinions on HR or Eibach or other springs...which set has the better drop and better ride? Thanks
