2010 E550 Coupe: Window issue
Here's the story:
So I pulled the car out of the garage 2 weeks ago for a nice hand-wash. Finished the detail and it was time to put her back in the stable. All systems go = fail. Car would not start, lights on dash functioning, radio playback functioning, i.e. I called Roadside assistance and towed the car to the dealer.
Issue: Battery would not hold a charge. Replacement was necessary and completely covered under warranty. Issue resolved.
Secondly, (just yesterday) I notice that my driver side rear window would not completely close. Usually, the rear window slides over to seal the gap between the driver door window and rear window (pillarless). I scheduled an appointment this week to have this looked at.
EDIT: Driver-side window will not completely shut automatically. Seeking further information of this issue occuring with other 550 owners. Possible manual reset?

Looks to be an isolated incident occurring only on my possessed car.
I'll let you guys know what the outcome is when I take it to the dealer Thursday morning.

Probably after the battery hiccup and replacement, the window position just needs to recalibrate.
I don't have my C207 user's manual with me at this moment, hence I can't tell if the window recalibration can be done by the owners (recently it happened to my 997.2 GT3, I did the recalibration per the manual, and it worked.) However, when in doubt, just bring your E550 Coupe to your dealer, and I am sure they can take care of it for you.

You have to reset the windows. I had the same issue both with my battery dying which the dealer replaced and my windows not closing after a dead battery. I found rolling up the window and holding both the passanger set and driver set of buttons for 5 to 10 seconds after the windows are rolled up fixed my issue. it took me a few tries.

Just reset my driver side windows.
With the ignition on accessory, roll both F and R windows down simultaneously and hold the switches in the down position for 10 seconds. Then roll both windows up the same way and hold the switches in the up position for 10 seconds. The windows should index.
Also, my rear windows are not one-touch. Child safety probably.
