New Coupe Owner -- Snow performance? Seat squeaking.
Bought the car off the dealer lot since my 1999 Maxima was starting to fail. Car came with the trim package. I'm not a big fan of the wood steering wheel, so the dealer swapped it out for the standard leather wheel. By the way, if you're interested in a burl walnut steering wheel for C207 E-coupe, please see the classifieds area on MBWorld.
I live in Seattle. The roads are hilly. There was a big snowstorm three months ago, but usually there is snow on the roads for only about 5 days during the winter. Has anybody driven their coupe in light snow with the OEM Michelin Primacy MXM4 all-season tires? If so, how do they perform?
My driver’s seat squeaks when going over bumps. The dealer rerouted some of the pneumatic tubing, and lubricated the track and guides as well as the attachment points between the seat and the vehicle body. The squeak was gone for a while, but has now come back though not as loud. Adjusting the seat position sometime helps. Anybody else have this issue?
Look forward to years of driving enjoyment in my new car. Will be checking out this forum regularly since I've become a big fan of MB.

Your car looks lovely. I particularly like the lack of front license plate mounting holes!
Concerning snow, I'm seriously thinking of importing some autosocks from the UK since the 255/35/18 size is not carried in the US. They are for emergency traction only but I'm not planning on driving in snow unless it is one. http://www.autosock.us/
Not sure on the squeak. Does changing the amount of air in the mulit contour seat affect the squeak? Wondering if it might be a tiny leak?
Sadly, Washington state requires a front license plate. I think it's only for camera enforced traffic lights and tolls on bridges. Thought about options to secure a front plate without drilling into the bumper, but ultimately had the dealer install the front bracket once my license plates came in. Well, at least I have a picture of the front bumper before it was drilled.
I like the Autosock idea for use in snow and ice. Also have thought about renting a 4 wheel drive car with snow tires, taking a bus/cab, or staying at a hotel near work for the few days a year that the roads are that bad.
The seat squeak is annoying, especially since the cabin is so quiet. The noise is intermittent. I've used the seat position adjustment trick as well! I also mask it with the stereo. Haven't tried adjusting the air bladders in the seat, but will do so and see if it makes a difference. By the way, my friend has a 5 year old Mercedes M-class SUV. He said his seat squeaked as well, but eventually the squeak went away. So maybe it's just that the springs in the seat loosen up with time, but that could be totally wrong!
Thanks for the invite to the drive event on the 31st. Sounds like lots of fun. I'll check my schedule.

When my 2012 C350 Coupe was new, the driver seat had a little squeaking sound only at certain roads. The squeaking was so tiny and occasional that it would be hard for a third person (e.g. dealer tech) to troubleshoot...
So, I had a look of it myself, took the seat back cover out, used my hand to gently making sure all the internal parts/tubes/wires/etc. seated well without rubbing each other, and put the seat back cover back. Now the seat is absolutely quiet.
The back seat cover is very easy to take out. There are two Torx screws at the bottom of the seat cover facing down. Unscrew them, and gently slide the seat cover out & away from the seat. There are lots of small things (parts, tubes, wires) inside the seat, so be careful not to damge anything. To put the seat cover back, reverse the procedures.
Hope it works for your case.
