Should I tint the tail lights or no?
Can't decide if I want to tint my tail lights or not. It's a 2012 E350 cabriolet, black on black and the red in the lights looks too bright but I see too many cheesy looking tinted lights.

I don't know why people do it...something about reducing the visibility of lights designed to warn those behind you and prevent the most common type of accident, doesn't sit on the right side of logic to me.

I wouldn't do it, it looks cheap. There is one CLS on here with only the red portion lightly tinted, and that is the first time I've thought tinted lights are acceptable.

I wouldn't do it either. It just cheapens the car. Every time I see a 3 series BMW with tinted tail lights it's being driven by some kid with his BB cap backwards. Just my opinion.

U can tint the white part of the tail light or light tint on the red part so its more like darker red .. I'm gonna tint my tail light later and I'll upload some pictures later

My car came with tinted tail lights. Thinking of removing the tint this weekend, as I'm not a big fan of tinted tail.
On a side note, does anybody knows if the Euro-edition tail lights are available for purchase in the US?

If you're talking about the clear ones, they're only available for the sedan
