I traded-in my 2010 E550 coupe with 1.6K miles (yes 1.6K) last August (car was in brand new condition). Original MSRP was $61K and I bought it (from same dealer) for $58K. After hard negotiations, we settled on $45.5K. They then retailed the car as CPO (extra $2K or so expense for dealer) for around $49K. Trade-ins fo 2010s dropped significantly since September.
Retail on '10 E350 cpe in non black/white/silver with 32K miles is $36-37K. So my best guess for OP's question is $30K max.

Its not Mercedes specific. Same applies to BMWs and Audis (and probably most others, except for sport cars) - black, silver and white worth more at trade-in, because they worth more at retail and is easier for a dealer to sell. Also the diference is not huge, but is in a $1K-2K range. Having said that, mileage and condition are the most important (after a "demand" for a specific model in a given market at present time). Color comes next.

I thought the total opposite. I owned mostly bmw's and red colors you sell for more.
So I agree the Mercedes crowd are typical older than BMW
