Waiting since June..

I made an inquiry back in June on an Flash for E350 (C207)... I've been repeatedly told the protocol is being development. It's nearing the end of the year and I have little confidence this is going to happen. I sent my last email to Josh for that final attempt. I stopped holding my breath unless offered something worth my wait; something above and beyond the 20 percent being offered here.

As we have mentioned in our emails to you, we were testing on a local vehicle before we release the product to market. This ensures the reliability of the tune and tests the performance gains over a testing period. We do not release any product to market before following all steps in our development process. I do apologize for any delays that you experienced. As you are not in the L.A. area we will require you to send in your ECU for modification.

hello, i notice you offer stage 1 & 2 flashes for all 550 N/A models for $395 and $645 with flashloader....what types of gains am i looking from a c207(Mercedes E550 Coupe)

In all fairness, Josh at OE Tune has been in contact with me since June, and more recently over the last few days. (Developing the software takes time) In his most recent correspondence (yesterday) Josh stated the following I'd like to share: "Our local dealer in GA does not have the correct tool to tune your vehicle at their location as the ECU type is very new. Your ECU must be removed and sent in for modification. Please let me know if you are able to do this and I will send you the removal instructions." (I'm in GA, OE Tuning in CA).

Since the car is a daily driver, I need to look for an alternate solution in getting the ECU into the hands of OE Tuning. Any reasonable suggestions? Is is possible to get a replacement ECU from Mercedes, or is that not even an option?

...working out solutions with Josh at OE Tuning this morning. Suggested that I may be able to get a replacement ECU for MBZ, but may be costly.

Spoke to Jeremy today and provided an update on the ECU tune for 2012 E350. Looks to be two more weeks when Beta tests are completed and final tweaks before official release.

Yes, there are always plans to support as many new models as possible. There is nothing in the works right now for your vehicle and no dates for any release are available. For tuning your car the only option is to send in the ECU.

We are looking forward to the long awaited release of this product. Testing has given positive results so far, available in the coming weeks.

Is the beta test done on the E350 ECU's? It's been a few weeks since I spoke to Jeremy and you guys were close to releasing it? Just wonder if the 20 percent factors in...? I've been faithfully waiting for 6 mos. IM please.

We did some dyno testing during the week with gains of upto +8whp seen on a Dynojet. Vehicle tested was a 2012 E350. We will be performing some final street logging/testing this week, then one last round of dyno testing.
