I did. Very easy to replace (just like the sun visors).

They won't dim. It will light up when you are driving at night (I really do not know why MB designers have to make them light up and so that you can see your shoes and the front passenger's shoes as well).

It depends which type of led bulbs you bought (some are bright and some are dim).

I find the amber LED looks and works the best. The white bulbs just seem too bright. BTW on my car there are two levels of brightness: one when the door opens and then it dims down for night driving.

I never noticed that. Maybe you are right. I never pay attention to those.

Yes, the correct LED bulbs have two-stage brightness that allows this to work. precisionled.com is one source.

Most of the Canbus enabled LED bulbs will do this. I suggest contacting them direct for info.

I have switched all of the interior bulbs of my car, I purchased a set of LED's on EBAY.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-Lights-LED-SMD-Interior-Light-Kit-HID-White-Mercedes-Benz-E-Class-C207-Coupe-/300716332815?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item460417170f&vxp=mtr
They work good, and are not too bright. They stay the same brightness when I am driving.

The fat balding guy that drives an E350 Cabriolet suggests you contact precisionled.com as that is where I got mine that dim after the door closes to the car. BTW I'm the same guy that told you where to get the Diamondvision cornering lights...

True. And Nice! That Ferrari reminds me of Miami Vice and the 80s.
