How tall are you?

Man, I don't get this headroom thing for you 6' 3"+ guys.
At 6' tall there is about 1/2" above my skull. That means any decent sized bump and I hit my head, not to mention messing up my $45 haircut even on smooth roads.
Have you guys got 38" inseams and short bodies or what. No offense .

I've got the seat all the way down, but like I said earlier, at 6' it's not really enough for me.
It looks like all you tall guys are driving cabs? Maybe they just have more headroom?

To those with headroom problems, how much do you recline your seat? I recline mine back a bit and have about two feet of headroom. Of course I can barely see out the side windows and just drive by the braille method.

E200 CGI Cabrio 2010
I'm 6' 7½" (202 cm) with 2010 E cabrio. Still some headroom if the seat is in the lowest position and slightly more than normally tilted back. Is there any way to make the seat a bit lower though? Coupe is in my opinion lower, because of the shape of the roof.

I think the Coupe has a lower roof because of the pano roof. They put a giant brace from the A pillar going back over your head.
I guess it's for rigidity or rollover protection. Mercedes must think that cab drivers expect some twisting of the chassis and they have harder heads in case of a roll over.

It is not just your height - it is how tall your body is when seated.
I am 6' 4" and have no problem with the head room in my coupe. I have a friend who is only 6' 1" and he has a head room problem in my coupe.
I have a 36" inseam so my height is in my legs. My friend has a 31" inseam so his height is in his body.
If you do the math, even though I am 3" taller than he is, when seated his body is 2" taller than mine. That 2" difference when seated is why he has a head room problem in my coupe.
In both cases the seat is adjusted the same - as low as possible and the backrest tilted slightly back. However, he has to move the seat forward due to his shorter legs..

Aha! I was right about the inseam back in my Feb post. Although my guess was 38". I'm a 34" guy.
Oh well, it's the wife's car anyway so I don't drive it too often. It is a blast though.
