drivers door doesn't lock automaticlly
Hello,
i have noticed today on my E350 2010 that the automatic key lock doesn't lock all doors.
using the remote, it only locks the passenger's door. but doesn't lock the drivers door. i have tried the central lock (inside the car) but does the same issue.
i can lock and unlock the drivers door by the master key and manually with my hand when im inside the car.
im not sure what is the issue? is it a fuse? please note im not under warranty.

First try changing the batteries in all key fobs!!!
Then check that you have the correct settings in the settings screen, do the doors lock when you drive off for example, check the convenience settings.

I had a diagnostic test on the vehicle and showed a fault
The MB object number for hardware is 212 820 37 26
Diagnosis identified is 000211
Fault 98b101 the output for the central locking motor has a malfunction there is a general electrical fault.

Hi, at least you now know it is a fault and not a set up issue, first is to check fuses and simple wiring disconnects.
You mention that it does lock, manually, does it unlock electronically?
As I mentioned does it lock when you drive off???
You may have a door control module failure????
