521 Red Line Package
Has anyone been able to order a 2015 207 cab or coupe with the Red Line package? My dealer is holding my order until word from the factory as to when they will start building them. Thought I might put it out there in case someone has better info. THX

Not on MBUSA website yet. This came from Ordering Guide. Apparently not able to order until 1st quarter 2015. Was hoping someone had more info than my dealer as to when they will start building it. I am also interested if the Sport Seats will allow for Nappa Leather and Ventilation.

Seems odd this information exists on the TRUECAR website as one of the more popular options packages ... with the items indicated above ... but there is no information on it to be found on the MBUSA website.

I am working the ordering dept at the dealer. They are telling me that they still can't place the order I made many weeks ago. Moreover, they are telling me that MB will be closing out the orders for the 2015 model year on February 28th. After that, I'll have to order a 2016 model. Everything I have read is indicating that the option is available 1st quarter 2015. The dealer ordering guide at the dealership agrees. But it is not on the MBUSA site, and I am concerned that I may not be able to order it until January or so. Meanwhile, my lease runs out in a little over a month. Might have to extend the lease or settle for what the dealer can get me.

Don't know if it will be addressed or not, but I have sent a query to MBUSA regarding this question via their website. Just got the acknowledgement of receipt of my query ... seems funny TRUECAR would have information MBUSA doesn't. However, the timeline you cite could still allow for this option to be valid for my '15 purchases ... however narrow the window. Would like to see pics of this package ... unless its just a carryover/carbon copy from the C350 line.

2014 E550 Coupe and 2010 E350 Sedan
It sounds like a normal E550 C to me (sport package maybe?), outside of the red stitching and the night package. Mine came with white contrasting stitching on black leather. Oh, and I don't think I have AMG floormats.

Snake--It is different from the Sport Package. Has larger silver shift paddles, red stitching on steering wheel, doors and center console, choice of either 18" or 19" black AMG wheels, the AMG floormats, and completely different seats. I just wish there was more info so I can decide if I actually want it. Edmunds is now citing it in their review too. They even are indicating better brakes and suspension. They are probably wrong, though.

So it appears all the information you have is current - as non-specific as it is - with the exception of the overall package name (according to the above).

Latest info from MBUSA and the ordering rep from Fletcher Jones Newport Beach, CA: The 2015 207 E550 Cab can no longer be configured for order. They have closed the year. As of a week ago, they had one car still in production that could be pulled for configuration as a 2015 model. After that, done. The $$2070 RedLine package is still not available, they are guessing a supplier issue. Incidentally, the Night Package is a part of it, but just a ($300) paint option. It means black mirrors, spoiler, front end, etc, which really doesn't matter much to me since I am ordering a black car anyway. (Please see the cut and paste above from the Dealer Ordering Guide I posted on December 3, typos included) I have seen it on other models, especially the white and grey colors and it looks nice. But I am interested in the other parts of the Red Line PKG. Incidentally, they told me that they are bringing back a Premium 2 and Premium 3 package for 2016. The P3 will have just about everything included and a dash emblem. No word on pricing. If I order one tomorrow, it will be a 2016 and will be a May delivery. And still no promise of the RedLine or Night Pkg yet.

seems the inconsistent information provided from MB continues to be an issue. first you're told the MY '15 close-out date is the end of Feburary, and one week later they're telling you its now closed. TRUECAR shows this as an option (late availability), and the email I received was posted above ... all false information. if past practices hold true, it will take more than a few months for the MBUSA website to reflect MY '16 builds ... and I'd be surprised if the current ordering guide your dealer is working from even has accurate current (projected?) pricing information. Keep us posted.
