Where do you put stuff...?

I'm finally getting to use my new E400 as my daily driver now that the Infiniti is lease is just about over and the car is going back. Where do you guys put stuff...? The Infiniti had a nice place to store sunglasses for example, nothing like that in the E. I'm a gum chewer and thought maybe I could use the ashtray area, nope way too small. And lastly, if you have the coupe, what the hell are we to do with that stupid flip open place that the convertible top control would have been, useless waste of space.

Don't get me wrong, love the car but storage space is non-existent.

Not sure of the set up in your later MB, but I popped out the ash tray and there is now enough space for a pack of gum.
The glove compartments in my '11 and '12 really suck, leaving little space for storage. Hope that changed on newer models.
Other than that, the only available space is the center console.

Glovebox, center arm rest, and door panels for me. I did pop out the ashtray as well. Yeah, that little flip open part at the front of the arm rest...silly. It does hold change, a small set of keys or anything like that.

For sunglasses i rest them on the ledge of the GPS screen (perhaps place a non slip silicon pad there)
- when im lazy or need to see the gps i place them in the cup holders

In my center console i keep my badge, my personal items in case i even need them and the glove compartment is for insurance and my gf's sunnies.

Otherwise i wish there were little pockets on the side of the center console area, like near your knees. I know there is a little net for passengers, however i would really like one for my glasses or wallet or something random i dont want rolling around.

not sure with the facelifted model but you can change your upper handle (ceiling) to sunglass holder, 5 minute mod. other than that, center console and door pocket. glovebox is pretty tight from my prefacelift 207.

Sun glasses fit in the center console along with a tire gauge and a few other small items. I use the ash tray for Pocket change. There is space enough there for a pack of gum as well I suppose. Flash light fits in the glove box. There's always some space in the door pockets for some small stuff as well. You could always put your sun glasses there as well I suppose.

I use sunglass holder on visor.

There's also the netting in the passenger footwell (pretty easy to get to from driver seat).

I don't see a lack of space. The center console is plenty big. I keep a Ruger .380 LCP, extra magazine, Rayban sunglasses case, and a few other items and there is still room.
