Wife's new car has arrived, another Mercedes
My wife's old E350 was getting some miles on it and the value was diminishing on the older body style, so I asked her if she was ready for a new car. We put 37k miles on it in 18 months of owner ship, but really didn't need a sedan anymore. So she said she wanted a coupe. Ok cool I thought, she like he body style of the coupe, but with some arm twisting she decided the new body style was ok.
I had originally been set on finding a 2014 E550 coupe with the twin turbo V8, but with more miles and less warranty on them I started looking at '15s with not much luck as they were out of the budget. So I opened my search up to the '15-'16 E400 coupes with the twin turbo V6 rwd. I conferred with Mr.Cooley and he said they are wonderful cars, the 550 is just a monster.
So after some head bashing with Scooby24 putting the thought of buying new out of my head, I resumed my search and came across this car and am very pleased I did.
Welcome a 2015 E400 coupe rwd(she won't drive in winter), Polar White with Neutral Beige/Black interior(stunning combo), very high option car with 9900 miles. Car has 30 months and 40000 miles of warranty remaining. I was able to buy the car at wholesale which helped my decision. Its a off lease Mercedes, so it has some issues that I am addressing but i am extremely pleased with the purchase. I was able to get it shipped home last week from Dallas while I was in Austin racing at COTA last week my wife took delivery.
She initially found some things that worried her but with some quick compounding and a shade of wetsand I was able to correct last night. Today I pulled it out for its first wash.
I had WeatherTechs delivered while I was gone, luckily her new wheels off her old car will slip right on, I did put a wider tire on the front of the wheels since the others were stretched. No real other plans besides paint protection(after refinishing the front bumper) and windshield tint from John and a tune from RennTech.
Here are some pics. Enjoy.
Very cool option the star is illuminated.
Little snails and factory heat exchanger.
Polish work. Before and after.
Interior.
A kick *** option I found today, seat fold down.

Congrats, I have a '14 E550 coupe same color but with black interior.
I would recommend tinting that panoramic roof if you live where it gets hot during the summer.

Thank you.
Yea it is, didn't know it had it until I was cleaning it this weekend.
Thank you.
We have own 3 with pano roofs, 2 with black and one with beige, and now this one and never seem to have an issue.

Very nice! I have a white E350 with the upgrade black interior, which I love, but your tan interior looks very nice...and especially with it being for a lady.

Congrats on the new ride! Beautiful interior/exterior color combo. Out of curiosity, what were you racing out at COTA?
