Thumbs up just traded in my '15 e400 coupe for a new '17...
~ well after seeing the new '18 e400 coupe in person (too rounded exterior for me - kinda plain) ... i elected to trade-in my '15 e400 coupe for a new '17 e400 coupe.

very similar cars but i swapped from the red leather to the medium tan leather (looks nice with the black carpet contrast). i also like the newer & more aggressive amg bumpers and side rocker panels on the new '17 (same as '16).

the new car also has the premium headlights i always missed in my '15.

they made me a heck of a deal since the new '18 coupe was just released. no regrets for i loved my '15 e coupe with its subtle mods.

i just completed the full clear bra, swap the prior gloss black grill, & installed the dust-free brake pads over the weekend... 50% tint tomorrow, springs next week, & i will swap to the more aggressive 19" on to the car once lowered.

I agree with you that the 2017 looks better than the 2018. The main reason I did not wait a few months for the 2018 is that I had numerous problem with my 2003 E500, first year model. Some people have many problems with their 2017 E300, W213. The new E coupe is based on the 2017 E. I don't to repeat the mistake.

I probably will get the new coupe. Have a 13 E350 Cab now. But I will wait 2 years. Let them get the bugs out.

The preferred company for clear bras is www.xpel.com

I've been installing them since '98 so I place them on every car I buy. Just remember the product is only as good as the installer...so be certain to see their work before selecting the company for the application. Its a learned art.

unfortunately can't see pics due to photobucket changing its rules ... did you transfer, or do you plan on transferring, the vogtlands you installed on your '15? if so/not ... what was your overall opinion of them?

I have a 2015 E400 and can not see any reason to swap it for an 18 model. I don't like the new shape as much.
Horses for courses I guess.
