Angry 2018 E400A Cabriolet Dented by Dealership

So, my car was brought into my dealership a week ago for warranty repairs they must have pushed down on my car numerous times - enough times, and hard enough, to cause multiple dents on the rear quarter panels and who knows where else. They also scratched my car up. They were going to return the car back to me in this condition yesterday and I refused to take it back. They recorded one of the dents on the paperwork (they said for full disclosure) and tried to fix it themselves.

What are are my options here or anyone have any thoughts to share?

It doesn't surprise me at all. If you take the car back and don't notice the damage until later, they can deny any responsibility because you then have no proof that it didn't occur after the car left the dealership. Shady, but not surprising.

The sad thing is when I was about to pick-up the vehicle, they made it sound like the dent was pre-existing and they did me a 'favor' by trying to remove it. Well... this better get fixed to my satisfaction.

My dealership in Naples takes pictures of your car with iPads when you bring it in for service.

I worry every time I take my car in for service... its gotten to the point that I have the same service advisor and technician each time my cars goes in for service. Fortunately I know the part manager from high school and he selected the advisor and tech given my **** retentiveness with my cars. It's worth asking your dealer for the best tech with attention to detail. I also take my car in spotless...so they get a better idea of my expectations.

Also I ask them not to wash my car...just one less person shuffling it around that doesn't care.

The dealerships have cameras everywhere. Ask the owner of the dealership to please review. Escalate is up to MBUSA corporate. MBuse May have an ombudsman to help you out.

This didn't happen at a certain MB dealer next to a Lamborghini dealership, did it?

Car was returned back to me. They removed the dents. I can still see a few slight imperfections, but is 95%+ okay.
They ended up detailing the car and removing the scratches.

Regardless of the end result, they put you through hell and that is just not fair to you! I would write to MB a detailed description of this fiasco, and never go back to them for service and sales! You have choices!
