2014 A207 rear seat removal
Does anyone know how to remove the rear seat bottom so I can remove the seat back to get to the seat belt tensioner?

Seat belts usually have very long warranties. Shouldn’t the dealer be fixing this? Is this a project for DYIers?

Thank You vary much for the attached PDF files. One last ? Would you know if there is the possibility of triggering Air bag Deployment while removing seat belt tensioner and when disconnecting ground wire of battery will I lose any functions of vehicle when it is reattached?

Recommend checking SRS with SDS (MB diagnostics) after replacement. Should not loose any functions after disconnecting battery.

A207 2015 remove back seat clips help please

anyone know how these clips numbered 6 release spent an hour now and don't want to break anything but can't get them free

hi
use a very long flat head screw driver and insert it down the side of the fitting and pry outwards towards the wheel arch whilst pulling on the lower part of the back rear towards you. Then repeat on the other side then lift whole back rest upwards then pull top half towards yourself to allow lower prongs to not get caught. Hey presto. Your welcome 🙏
