‘13 e-350 coupe what else to do on it
Hello everyone. I recently purchased a 2013 e-350 coupe black on black. I tinted the windows (legal so 50 in front and 35 in back) and blacked out the rims
Are there any other cosmetic mods you would recommend? Maybe even some slight performance mods?
I will also also add an automatic starter to the car, it’ll be useful for the winter time.

Modifications to my 2013 E350 4matic Coupe
I also recently acquired a Black on Black 2013 E350 4matic Coupe.
I changed the front grille to a SLS-style grille. I also changed the from side marker lights from amber to clear.
I also changed the center caps to black MB center caps

My next upgrade is Akebono Ceramic Brake Pads
Too much black brake dust from MB stock brake pads, especially with Silver wheels.
I have had good experience with Akebono Ceramic Brake Pads. Here are the details

I like the side marker light change as well, but I am looking for a black to go along with my theme.
Still deciding on the grille change
I ordered the center caps.
Any other recommendations? or anything else you plan on doing to yours?

yup i already saw those lights on ebay and messaged the seller. For some reason the compatibility stops at 2012 e350's so I messaged him to confirm if they are compatible with 2013 models as well.
Also, how is the installation, did you do it yourself?

I don't know how extreme you want to go but I've always been a fan of Prior Design Widebody kits:
If this is too extreme I would suggest doing chrome deletes on the doors/trunk/bumper areas to get a fully blacked out look.

Front side marker lights installation information
I had my body shop do the installation. They charged me an hour for labor.
BTW: Side marker lights for a 2012 E350 Coupe (C207) will fit a 2013 E350 Coupe. North American customers received the facelifted E350 Coupe as a 2014 model.

Set the right-side mirror to tilt down when car is in reverse
This process will also work for the Mercedes E350 Coupe (C207). See post #15 in the linked thread.

My experience with the clear side-marker lights
I would check with the seller about the smoked side marker lamp upgrade. I also suggest that you search this forum and the E212 sedan forum on MBWorld., for ("smoked side marker" Depot). for more information

I added the black center caps today and it definitely gives it a better look and goes with my black theme. I however do not want to go full blacked out as I like the black/chrome combination.
I ordered the smoke black side markers, can't wait for them to come in!
Still deciding on the grille.

Advice: You may want to disable the programmable easy-exit feature
My 2013 E350 Coupe has the "4-way pwr tilt/telescopic steering column -inc: memory, programmable easy-exit feature". The up and down adjustment stopped working recently when the temperature went below freezing and the car had been outside.
I discovered this thread via the Search function and tried many of the tips without success. Based on some additional research, I found the Mercedes Star Bulletin about the software upgrade for this problem (see attached file)
I spoke with the local Mercedes Service Department about having this software update applied. I was advised to that there would be a $209 "Diagnosis Charge" to have the SW update performed. I then asked to speak with the Service Manager about this charge. I was connected with the Senior Service Advisor who offered to look at car with no charge if I would bring it in.
He tried whacking the steering wheel from both the top and then the bottom while pressing the adjustment lever without success. He then said he would need to bring it into the shop to see if the Up-Down power motor adjustment was broken. I agreed to this.
It took approximately an hour to resolve the problem Here is what was done:
The dealership also washed the exterior and vacuumed the interior.
Going forward, I will leave the "easy-exit feature" turned off to minimize future problems.

The side markers came in. I ended up doing the change myself, it wasn't too hard at all. I followed this youtube video
It definitely has a much better look to it now. I think the next thing I will do is the Grille change.
