Hi guys,

I just want to know whether the 2014 C207 has the carplay?

If so, how can I activate?

I just want the google map to be displayed on the command screen.

My car is a 2016 and it doesn't have Carplay, so I'm pretty sure you're out of luck with that - sorry.

Depends on what stereo you ah ve, Audio 20, 50 or Comand.

Even then Carplay and no touch

I would spend the bit more and get the 10.25" Android screen and do it all natively, and have carplay as the backup option through that.

Interestingly, Apple's website indicates that CarPlay is available for the following MB models:

Apple Car Play (and Android Auto) did not arrive on the marketplace until late 2015, and even then it was available only on a few brand of autos in 2016. So AA/ACP on any car this age and before are retrofits.

MB's with build code 531 COMAND APS NTG5/NTG5.5can be retrofit with a dealer update to firmware update High_CY15_9, followed by an aftermarket OBD2 module to activate AA/ACP. See this thread for details (from post 80>)... https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...16-w212-3.html

I think you still need the OBD2 module as well. The MB part# is referenced somewhere in another forum in MBWorld.

However, I can find no indication of support in the documentation for my car (2016 e400 coupe).
My 2017 C400 C4 has Apple Car Play and Android Auto- It was included in Option P03 (Premium 3 Package). I tried both when I got the car, and pretty much never used either since. I find the onboard navigation works okay, and for music I have many thousands of songs on SD Cards. I did observe that getting & sending Text messages is better using the Car Play or Android Auto. Both the Car Play & Android Auto worked quite well-- but I like to listen to Satellite Radio and my own music-- which I can not do, if I'm running navigation on Car Play or Android Auto

Just purchased a 2012 E350 last Friday. Was about to get reeeeally mad over the fact the COMAND system kept rebooting, thought we bought a car with a problem. Glad to hear that it's not just us. Hope that it's fixed soon, though.

Is there any way to disable the SiriusXM?
