OBD Diagnostic socket fault
My E250 cdi diagnostic socket doesn’t work, I have checked fuse box no 73 in boot and fuse doesn’t appear blown . Has this happened to anyone

Hi I have checked the pins they seem fine ( looking back I visited Benz dealership to have a Bluetooth adapter connected Mercedes me which stop working last year I thought the problem was to do with the connected adapter now I know better . ) just hope it’s not the computer that damaged could be a costly repair 🤞

Mine says “link error”. Tried removing the diagnostic fuse in the trunk fuse box but no change.
dealer thinks it may be a communication error with the ECU and the ECU may need to be replaced. I’m taking it in next week

. Oh even when u remove the Obd fuse the message still says link error on the scanner ??? What fuse number for the obd does it say on your vehicle chart ??

yes, I pulled fuse number 73 which was the one that the little paper that came with the car. The scanner went blank I replaced the fuse but the scanner still read “link error”
