Hey guys, I’m new here just registered and just purchased a 2016 E400 4Matic Coupe. It’s my first MB and I love it!
I just replaced the front pads and rotors and can do some other basic work. I really want to buy a shop manual but I can’t seem to find anything. All I can find is some weird DVD on eBay that says it’s for all cars up to 2019?
Anyone have luck with getting a manual somewhere?
Restricting access to the service manuals? Of course they do. That's no secret. They Make money every time you have to take your car to the Stealership you know?
Start googling "Mercedes EWA EPC WIS ASRA" or similar and you'll find what you need. You're primarily interested in WIS (service/repair procedures) and EPC (parts lists and pictures.)
You need to be a bit tech-savvy to get it done but it's doable. There is a significant learning-curve associated with its installation and use.
You want the 11/18 vintage of EWA, for the cars that are discussed in this forums area. There are some videos on Youtube that are helpful.

Hey there,
That DVD on eBay would most likely be a version of Mercedes WIS/ASRA/EPC. This is the manual which the techs at MB use to repair the vehicles, it covers all MB models and variants literally every single one from 1986 to 2019. I don't think they use shop manuals anymore, it's all digitised in this day and age. It's a really powerful bit of software as it shows you how to do every single procedure you could think about (including removing the engine, transmission, how to replace sensors etc which are very handy for my LS swap project!)
I would suggest not getting the DVD but instead going for a downloadable copy of it. I paid £2.50 for mine which was basically a link to a network share, you download the files and basically it extracts themselves into a virtual machine which the software is installed in. There are fairly good instructions on how to install it in the network share as well, I can point you to a link if needed, or you can just put "Mercedes WIS" into eBay and go for one which has a good amount of sales.
You put your VIN number into the software and it loads all the procedures which are arranged into the different sectors of the vehicle, I bet you will be able to find whatever you need to on there, it's incredibly comprehensive.
Am I allowed to put links here? You can just search up "Mercedes WIS" on eBay and tonnes of listings will appear. It has everything you'd ever want, been digging through it a bit more and it has very detailed diagrams showing how systems work - been very useful in understanding how the brakes, power steering, A/C etc.. communicate with ECU and how I would get them working as factory with LS3. Stuff like fenders and radiator will definitely be in there.

Thanks. I purchased one of these. Super easy, almost instantly got download instructions.
I haven't installed yet, but if anyone buys they should know its about a 32gb download, so make sure you have decent internet and appropriate storage space.

See? Even useless trolls like yourself can benefit from helpful information. Try it sometime.

i wouldn't suggest using emanual for the e coupe. They make you log in through a vpn to access the repair manual and its impossible to navigate though. always had issues with it.
