I haven't tried, but apparently, these have been proven to work nicely.

Let us know if it works?

Thank you so much for the response. These are for a 350 not a 550. the 550 replacement part # is 273 not 272. I might just order them and see if they fit.

Hey all. So I have a CLK550 and suffer the same issue the 2010 and 2011 E550 suffer regarding the rear portion of the intake hoses deteriorating. While doing research, I noticed it's a similar design for the 10 - 11 E550's and both hoses for that model have been discontinued, but there are aftermarket replacements available unlike the CLK550. So while searching online during that time, I came across the below on Etsy.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/1613874...w212-2009-2012

The information should read for 2010 - 2011 E550 as 2009 was the W211 and 2012 changed to the M278 twin turbo engine (Both of which don't have that deteriorating accordion piece issue), but I decided to go ahead and order one for my drivers side to see if it will work for the CLK550 so hopefully it can work for my application as well.

The 2012 E550 with the M278 twin turbo engine most definitely has the deteriorating accordion piece issue.I have replace mine twice.

I meant in regards to the plastic piece at the rear that attaches to the airbox. If you look on the 2010 or 2011 pictures versus the 2012+ it's a different design. The issue on the M278 twin turbo ones is the center piece that comes apart. This item I posted is only for the back piece on the non turbo vehicles.
