Massive "whoops" the other day getting out of my 2011 e550 cab the other day and broke this piece of fake wood paneling...
Honestly, all the interior panels on this car are peeling up and getting frail af like this one that broke...
Any suggestions on how I should go about fixing this? diy? Bring it to a benz dealership? order parts on ebay?
Just trying to figure out what my options are here and how much I should expect to pay.
Thanks!

After calling a few places they all told me to bring it to a Mercedes dealership near me... I guess that's my only option? 🤷♂️

I went to the Atlantic City Benz dealership, and they said the whole trim kit would be about $4,000!
LOL, yeah right. I'm about to go over to Joanna's Fabrics and just glue some random **** on there.
Literally anything would probably be better than that peeling, tacky, "toyota-esque" garbage trim the OEM puts in there... 😂

if you have any cracked pieces, just epoxy them back together and form them out with bondo. Takes some time and patience sanding it but after its wrapped you cant tell.
Only issue I've had it with actually getting the wood on the doors to stick back on the door card permanently. double sided 3m is the only thing that lasts but it does not leave it looking super flush.
