Congrats! You're going to love it. There have been a number of threads for mods and aftermarket accessories you may want to read. I haven't seen any that would make my cab look much better except some good rims. I definitely recommend the smart top 3rd party gizmo that puts the top up and down from a distance, as well as it let's you switch which direction to push/pull the top control lever, and has one touch on that also. Best $300 I've spent on the car so far. I hope you get some good replies here!

Hi Grant..Thanks for the reply... I'll have to check out the gizmo for the top... Do you know anyone who has put in an Android screen.... https://www.accessoryinternational.c...-MERCEDES.html ..I was thinking this would be a nice addition. Also, do you get a glare on the rear dash/deck when the top is up?

A bunch of guys have put in aftermarket screens. I suggest a search on this and the w212 forum. We share a lot of features with the w212 so stay plugged in to both. I don't get any rear glare issues sorry. I did remove the rear windscreen quite a while back. Slightly more wind on the highway but I never regret opening the rear view up. Maybe that will help...

2012 E350 Cabriolet now SOLD to my son
if you prefer a bigger more effective wind blocker, I found this one that fits the A207 2010-2017. Folds down flat, easy removal and stores in trunk if needed.

Considering the OEM tiny one costs $100 USD, the price may be well worth it

if you are into minor and functional mods, swap the rotors out for Powerstop zinc coated cross drilled ones. They make them for front and back if you have the AMG brake/ suspension option.
Full kit has all the clips and comes with Z23 pads which are a nice stopping improvement over the OEM ones. About 450 quid. Install is up to you though or your mechanic

They dont rust and look fantastic on all four corners esp with the AMG package wheels

Congrats and nice looking car.

I installed an Android screen 2 months ago and love it. It took a while to learn the system and set it up correctly but worth the time. Here is a thread to read. https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...installed.html

I think it would look out of place. I haven't even thought about needing a bigger screen since using it.

. Grant... Did you install this yourself or did you have it professionally installed?

Ok.. I see the installation instructions... Looks like 3 clips from the control unit located in the truck of the car... Is that correct?

Hi Randal, here are my choices, but it's all 100% personal preference and safety comfort. Be sure you know what each feature really does before making your choices. They bypass a little safety with some of the automatic stuff so you have to be aware. Enjoy!

Console One-Touch: On
Console switch invert: On
Maximum speed I forget but pretty sure kept at 30 or 40 KM/hr to keep with factory setting of 25mph
Remote Top (function 5) On
Remote Windows On
Keyless top: Off
Window Positions after opening - None (leaves them down)
Window switch one touch: Off (not sure why I chose this...kinda would prefer On here.
Hazard Flashers On
Chirps - 1 (Lock)
Folding Mirrors Off (leaves factory settings)
Comfort Wipers - Off
Eco Mode - Memory
Park Assist - Off (keeps factory setting so my right side mirror goes down on Rev)
