Which of these wheel size and offset will have best fitment???

Hey,

Could use some help and input into which of these wheels and offsets would fit best.
I am asking about these because these are what's available locally in my budget.
Also what tires to match.

Used old S55 W220 twin spoke 5 stars
8.5 x 18 ET44 and 9 x 18 ET44
thinking 245/35/18 fronts and 265/30/18 rears

Used old E55 W211 twin spoke 5 stars replicas *like these cuz E55, paying homage lol
8 x 18 ET30 and 9 x 18 ET35
thinking 235/35/18 fronts and 265/30/18 rears

Used newer black 2 tone 5 stars *like these cuz they are newer and match my black C207, wondering about moving from staggered wheels to squared though? the tires will still be staggered.
This would be my first pick, for looks and cost. But want what FITS the best.
8.5 x 18 ET 49 squared
thinking 245/35/18 fronts and 265/30/18 rears

or lastly slightly more expensive
New C63 10 spokes *nice but also will cost me more.
8.5 x 18 ET38 and 9.5 x 18 ET56
thinking 245/35/18 fronts and 265/30/18 rears

Thank you for your input!

The C63s.
I believe 245/40/18 fronts and 265/35/18 rears would be best for the 18s. Others can chime in on their thoughts for the ratio but standard 18s on these are 40 and 35.

Use this calculator to input the stock size wheel and tyre and offset and then plug in the C63 wheel & offset and tyres

Thanks for that. Even gives a Speedo error.
Says the C63 rear wheel will be 20.7mm closer to strut...
Is there enough room? How do we figure this out?

I'm running 265/30/19 on 9.5 with ET48 on my rears.

My guess is that you may need a spacer for the rears.

pattyt on post 100 of the offset and picture thread posted this for his setup:

W205 C63s OEM wheels installed
Front - 19x8.5 et 38
Rear - 19x9.5 et 56

Front - Mich PS4 245/35r19 no spacer (needs maybe a 5mm)
Rear - Mich PS4 275/30r19 with 15mm spacer

I like this option...but
with a 15mm spacer, that pushes the wheel out 19.7mm from stock.
I feel like that is a lot, is it not? will this not be protruding past flush?

although older, the E55 replicas are near top choice for me, because as I understand it, this set won't require spacers for a flush more aggressive fitment?

says fronts:
18 x 8 ET 30 with 245/40/18
will be 14mm further away from the strut than stock
and rim will poke out 14mm more

says rears:
18 x 9 ET 35 with 265/35/18
will be 6.6mm further away from the strut than stock
and rim will poke out 19.4mm more

sound right?! Thats what the online tools say, but as I'm still learning the ET 30 just sounds so low. I guess it should be OK, stock front is ET 44 so if someone used a 15mm spacer to make it flush it is effectively the same right?

The longer this drags on the more back and forth I do...
And sheisty marketplace sellers aren't helping lol.

Now deciding to go with the C63s, they are new so there should be no surprises. Just trying to source some 15mm spacers that won't take weeks to arrive...

Great choice..let us know how they fit with the tires you are gonna buy and any appropriate high quality hub-centric spacer. i would not go with a 20 mm spacer in rear. That might push it out too far..maybe a 15mm . I would use that tire calculator again before buying the tyres. Oh and be sure to get tyres with a Y speed rating (180+ mph) and XL load. I used Yokohama Advan All seasons Y rated XL load in the factory sizes about $200/each from Tire Rack. do not use run flats..too hard side wall will damage the rims from any potholes..

I would rethink the aspect ratios too ...going to 35 series will ride harsher and those C63 rims have been known to bend/crack with run flats....Try 45/40 factory aspect ratios in your tire calculator.

Yah I am trying to source a 15mm hubcentric spacer for the rear.
I've been riding on 40F/35R already so I'm accustomed to it.
Thanks for the tips!
