I saw this today on a parts website. It says "Mercedes-Benz Front Caliper Ornamental Molding", part number 2074270047 . My 2012 cab does not have this. Was this an OEM part? If so, which models and years?
It's for the rear, front is different looking. But yes, oem.
Maybe a change mid year? E.g. when I search for oil filters for my car 90% of places give the wrong one.

When I google search the part number it says they are for the front. I don't see a cover for the rear. I have a 2012 and most parts places list this as OEM, but my car does not have this. I bought the car with 36,000 miles, so I doubt the brakes had been replaced before I bought it.
It's on the front wheel caliper for the vehicles with AMG sport package. I believe its on all from 2010 to 2017 as long as you have the AMG Sport Package.
I have the AMG pkg but have the regular lookin brakes in the pix.
Also, I just found this link in my link stash that has all kinds of those simple oem parts sketches: https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/epc/mercedes/1/207/
I did see any different calipers, but it's a cool link just fyi for everyone
