2019 E450 4Matic, 2018 E400 Coupe
New forum for the 2018 E400 Coupe
To the extent the 2018 E400 coupe is a complete redesign, allow me to suggest that a new forum be added for this model.
Thank you
Thank you

Sarcasm mode on
You could have one forum for all the Coupe / Convertibles as they all look the same now no matter what class it is
Sarcasm mode off
It would make sense as they are a completely different platform, interiors etc with little shared other than engines.

After 3 weeks, I love mine. I understand the draw of Benz’s larger coupes. They aren’t hard core sports cars, but few vehicles execute trips or “touring” as well.

Just painted Wheels
Hello, i bought her 2 weeks ago and it’s the first new car I’ve ever owned! I had the wheels and brake calipers painted today. Might be a tad too much black now lol 😂

Wheels 19”
These are the 19” that came with the purchase of the car. I scheduled a change to 20” inch wheels but it would have made the drive more rough and I like the way it drives now, plus it came to over 5 grand including new tires and wheel alignment. So it was a win win to paint the wheels I have. I wanted the calipers red like the AMG line and Mercedes outsourced it to a body shop that does their paint work. They offered to write Mercedes or AMG on the calipers after they were painted.

Stuff happens/New Pics
Thank you for the kind words! Had a few curb runs and pothole incidents but they were covered by the wheel tire package I purchased at the dealership. I only bought 2 extras, that and the sealant (inside & out) that makes spilling pop on the dashboard or seats easy to wipe up. New pics attached

So that’s what 20’s look like on the coupe. Hard to even find pics of it online let alone see it on the road. You purchased it this way didn’t you? It’s unmistakable and clearly looks even more expensive. I’m not convinced my black on black would though or i no longer care now. Lol
When I was quoted an additional 5 grand for 20’s (and not even the style rims I wanted) and this after spending nearly 80k on the car out from my recent inheritance, then coupled with a decrease in riding comfort simply due to physics, having already driven it for over a month on the 19’s, it simply wasn’t worth doing in my situation and doubt most people in my place would have done otherwise. So I just painted mine and haven’t looked back. But if I could do it again I would seek out one with 20’s in the beginning and decide from there. Unfortunately, I didn’t know I was buying a new car that day and evrn less, the make and model of it.

I believe the 20's are/were options almost anywhere except in the U.S. (North American?) market for MY '18 … as is/was the Rubellite color for the coupe (only the anniversary cabrio offered this color for '18). This changes for MY '19 here in the states.
