E400C Lowered, Spacers, Chrome delete, and NEW Shoes
Before and After pictures below. Really happy with the way it came out. The only remaining touch is the panamericana grille I'm installing this week.
- 1.2in H&R Lowered springs
- H&R Spacers (20mm R/15mm F)

Are saying that spacers were added to 20x8.5 et32 wheels (square front and rear), so that car now runs on 20x8.5 et17 front and 20x8.5 et12 rear? With 245/35-20 tires?
If yes to all above, did you install spacers first or lowered first? If former, what was the poke before lowering (it had to be considerable)?

Thank you!
First I lowered and got an alignment, afterwards I installed the spacers which was all on the stock rims.
After came the new rims and another alignment.

OK, so you are running 20x8.5 et17 front and 20x8.5 et12 rear! Amazing.
The reason I am saying this is when I tried 20x8.5 e18 (20x8.5 et38 wheels with 20mm spacers) with 245/35-20 tires upfront, my poke (please see the picture) was almost 15mm. The car (sedan, not coupe, but it really does not matter since both use identical wheels/tires with same stock look) was non lowered, but still.
Sorry to hijack your thread, just trying to understand. I know lower offsets are possible when car is lowered, but to hide almost 15mm poke? Amazing.

Handling actually improved significantly after lowering, alot more confidence on tight turns. Struts seem to be good in shape, already 2 years since lowering it

Car looks great. How did you get rid of the chrome from exhaust tips and Mercedes logo at the back?
I am doing a chrome delete on my Black car but not sure how do cover those. Everything else I imagine can be wrapped?
