Release date of 2020 E 450 Cabrio
We have an order for a 2020 E 450 Cabrio that is supposed to be built late this month. Does anyone know what the release date for the 2020's will be?

Is there a Dealer Order Guide for the 2020 Coupe or Cab available? It will be interesting to see what changes are made from 2919. Is MBUX available in the 2020?

The dealers have the DOG now. No MBUX and premium 1 and the digital instrument display are in the base model. Other than that, one paint color change.

Wow, bad timing it sounds like. I don't think they will release the car from VPC after it's built until at least late august maybe september, sounds like the car will sit around a lot unfortunately.

I surprised they don’t offer MBUX in the 2020 E Cab (and I assume the Coupe including the E53) since it seems to be making its way into other models.

Probably not until the redesign in 2022. The MBUX system pretty much has to built into the car from the ground up, not something that can be just added very easily.

I read one article saying that MBUX would likely be in the 2020’s. It’s actually good news for us new owners if it’s not coming next year. At least our new cars won’t be outdated as soon.

Does anyone know if the analog IC is available in the '20? I actually prefer it over the digital. I don't mind the flatscreen for the center panel, but two large flatscreens next to each other is very Tesla like, which I really don't like.

As far as I know the only option for the 2020's will be to have the two flat screens side by side as that becomes standard equipment. My 2019 Cabrio does not have the 850 dollar extra screen option so has a analog tack and speedometer next to each other which are non configurable, won't be able to have that for 2020.

Word from the dealer is that our 2020 Cab will be at the port on July 22nd. If that is the case, we are hoping for a quick release of the 2020 cars.

You guys are just going to love driving your new E450 Cab. I have last years model (2019) which is virtually identical to the 2020. It rides like a dream, and boy the looks it gets.....nothing like a Mercedes Convertible

Just told the 220 E Cabriolets will be released today! Hopefully, that is correct and we will see ours soon as we are not that far away from Brunswick, GA.
