New 2020 E450 coupe ...regretting Night Package

Hey guys,

I know I am probably gonna sound petty, but I can't help it. In 2018 I leased a gorgeous diamond white e400 coupe with Amg line package....i loved that car to death. Just 4 days ago I had to give it back and get a new lease......I asked for the same thing with the addition of the night package. They couldnt find one in diamond white, so I got polar white (which i am not mad at).....BUT everytime i walk up to my car, I am just regretting the night package. I don't know if I am just being ridiculous or not, but its killing me lol. I have already put together a plan to convert it back to non-night package. Oem window trim, new front lip and new wheels. (possibly new grill plate and emblem housing)

Am I crazy?
also if anyone wants to trade AMG wheels let me know.

I don't think you sound petty or "crazy". In fact, your concerns qualify you as a "car guy" and that probably includes everyone on the forum. I reminisce about the old hot rod and custom car days where personalization was the norm. It is a little difficult to make any major changes to a leased vehicle without suffering some financial penalty so I would caution about how far your charges go and if they are easily reversible. Good luck with your new ride. Happy motoring.

Why do you regret the night package on it?

Before I pulled the trigger, I had spent a couple of early Sunday mornings walking local dealership lots to see the E450C in various paint colors. What I discovered, to my surprise, was that the Night Package decision was more compelling than the choice of paint color. So you may or may not be crazy, but you are not alone!

The Night Package was the reason i bought the special Night Edition E Class (saloon), I wouldn't have bought it without it.
The polar white is way nicer than the diamond white and especially with the black elements, give it time, perhaps it will grow on you. The main "culprits" of the package are the mirrors, and they're just "housing covers" so change those first and see what you think. Perhaps it's the colour of the mirrors which are throwing you.
The E400 coupe is my utilmate car. Do you have a 450 now?

Wow. New to the forum and am finding so many inconclusive posts. Posts where there are no replies or even worse, posts where the OP doesn't bother to answer questions or respond to replies. Now this stupid emotional and meaningless post is a bad example, but a good one at the same time.
