ROOF BROKEN - AGAIN

I had read somewhere that the 2018 a238 had an issue with the cords in the top - that they would fray or break. I also read the 2019 top was modified so the cords didn’t get rubbed so much.
My issue was the top cover got stuck in the up position and wouldn’t move. The top was almost closed (I was closing it when it failed). The right latch was secured but not the left.
I had it towed in to the shop—mostly because I wasn’t going to drive around with my car sporting an erection :-).
Of course they told me that after I left, the top worked perfectly. I tried and tried everything and couldn’t get it to budge. Of course their insinuation was I wasn’t do it right. I’ve had this car for almost two years. I think I know how to push or pull a button.
They also said there were no logs of a failure. Figures. They said they lubed all the places on the top and it was working perfectly.
I guess we will see

should have earlier but I just watched your video. With the exception of the top (mine was closed except for one latch and yours was open) the exact thing happened to me.
Made a screenshot of your diagnosis so if it happens again they can look at that sensor. As I mentioned in my previous post, they said they saw no error codes
