Hello.
New MB owner here. I have a 2021 E450 Coupe 4Matic.
I had one general question:

What is the best way to go about installing OEM illuminated door sills? Where would I buy the appropriate MB OEM parts?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Wow thank you for this information.
I'm relatively new to this community. A google search for 2056806610, comes up as "Cover Rail" - is this correct?
I presume it is a pack of TWO sills?

Do I just order this from an MB dealership, then proceed to a trusted alarm/stereo shop and bring along the instructions?
Is there any thing I'm missing?

Part # is correct. Comparison shop online dealers: https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...ts-online.html see if local dealer(s) will match.

Thanks for this information. Much much appreciated. Went to my local dealership (MB Brooklyn, NYC), both were marked up by 1.5x. Didn’t want to match the price I found online.

Went ahead and ordered both kits. Printed out all the instructions, found a local trusted shop specializing in electrical work.

Will post pics upon completion.

one last question-
where does an individual get the official MB instructions? For future DIY projects for example. The dealership said they don’t come with them.

Many thanks again.

Owners can subscribe to bonafide MBUSA WIS for 24 hour access (I believe it is $64 now) to download/print unlimited documents or you can shop ebay “wis epc mercedes” for latest disc or download making sure it includes 2021.

I just picked up the vehicle. Unrelated to original post but I figure you’d be able to help me out as this seems very minor.

I feel dumb, but I can’t find the remaining two clips for the net.
I believe it’s supposed to lie flat to the floor as opposed to upright.

Dealer should have installed floor net for you. SA would be able to do this without an appointment if you rather not return check for two additional anchors toward front of trunk floor. https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-c...cargo-net.html

I checked everywhere, and I see two indents where hooks SHOULD be.

What does “SA” stand for?

and I presume this is free of charge at the dealership?

Service Attendant, person you speak to when you visit dealership service. Could be they're not installed another reason to visit dealer if service is uncooperative (unlikely) speak with your sales person or sales manager.

Hi, thanks for this info. I am new to this forum. Been looking for this type of projection puddle light for my car. I tried to see if that part (2178206800) fits my car and no luck. Are you saying if I get the sill kit as well, then it can fit? Any other ideas on how to get it to fit my car? Thanks in advance.

Unless you damaged it, it should be covered under warranty.
