New 19 inch 5 twin spoke aero wheels

New 19 inch 5 twin spoke aero wheels
Does anyone like the design of the new 19 inch 5 twin spoke aero wheels with the ring around the inside ? I find them strange and too complicated . At least with the bi-color wheels the ring isn't so noticeable. Am I the only one who is not liking them ,or is it a case of getting used to them ? The only other wheel choice is 18 inch or 20 inch, neither of which appeal to me ,

I ordered an E450 cabrio in April with these wheels and having seen them in person ,as you say , the black accents make them acceptable and in a way rather special . Just surprised that nobody else on these forums commented on them . I presume you're joking about the possibility of them not being built ?

This is getting complicated . My order was originally for the RUG 10 spoke wheels like the new RRD 10 spoke wheels ,but dealer said will probably have to get the twin 5 spoke because the new RRDs come with performance tires and I wanted the all seasons which came with the RUG wheels . Anyway I'm in Canada so what ever comes I'll just be happy to get the car !

Yes , that's one way to get what I want which I didn't consider . I've seen the 10 spokes in person and like them very much . Thanks everyone for input ,it will be interesting to see what I end up with in October my estimated delivery date . Love these forums !

I received a copy of the Canadian DOG for the 2022 E Cabriolet and apart from a few minor changes from the 2021 model , the significant change for me was the wheels . Now the 18 inch wheels are no longer available and the 19 inch 10 spoke wheels are available as a choice to replace the 19 inch 5 twin spoke aero wheels . They are designated RUG similar to the RRD , but for 8J all round . So I'm happy that I'II get the wheels I want with all season tires . The other interesting change this model year is the replacement of the ' Designo ' name with ' MANUFAKTUR ' !
