Just starting out owning a Mercedes
Hi guys
Im not very familiar with any type of Mercedes Benz. I wanted to purchase a tune but i have no idea how to figure out if my 2018 E400 is a W212, W213, M276, etc. Ive been traveling all the forums and still haven't figured out what is what. Can you guys help me out? Im used to BMW's so the whole mercedes benz thing is a new world to me

W213 is your E-Class
If yours is a coupe it is a C238
and if it is a cabriolet it is a A238

So there are things you can use interchangeably with these vehicles however since there are different variants, parts can be different. The easiest way to put it is you have your name and someone shares a same name as you, your surname in this case is the variant that identifies you.

W213 E 450: M276 DLEA 30
W213 E 43: M276 DELA 30
W205 C 450: M276 DELA 30
W205 C 43: M276 DELA 30
Keep in mind, the E 43 was said to have bigger turbos and tuned differently than the E 450 despite having the same variant, hope this helps : )

I believe 2017-18 213 used DELA 30 not 35. Wiki is misleading. That said I'm curious as to other sources (for N. American market) if incorrect

Alright thanks again for correcting me, it seems that the E 400 used the same M276 engine variant as the C 400 which both are DELA 30. Appreciate the heads up.
OP, in that case, all these engine and vehicles mentioned are very similar to your vehicle so a lot of parts may potentially be used on your vehicle.
