Can someone offer information on a repair for the brake light and tail light in the picture below? I done think this is fused but strange that both side are out. Brake light and tail light on both sides are out. Showing message on dashboard.
If you look closely at the tail lights mounted to the trunk, you'll see where you'd expect to see brake lights...there aren't actually any lights at all. Just metal pieces designed to look like the actual brake lights mounted to the quarter panels.

Thank you for verifying the the lights in the truck on the bottom do not come on.
I picked it up from the dealer for Service B and two days later I saw an error message on my dash the reads Check Right tail light and Check Brake light. Which is weird.
I also can’t find the adjustment to make the truck close tighter. The 4 rubber bushing were adjusted all the way in. And it still looks open.
plus the light in the rear window is working
I removed the trunk-mounted lights while I was wrapping the car (trunk) and I got a bunch of those messages during a short drive. They all went away when I reinstalled them, plugged them back in, etc. No idea why you're getting them...they seem to be working based off of your pictures. Could be a firmware issue the dealer needs to fix?
If it's under warranty, I'd get them to look at the trunk too.

thank you. 92k miles and out of warranty. Great car! Still on the same brake pads and rotors
Follow up to my intermitting brake light issue. The warning light came bake on. This time when i checked the right side crushed ice light on the truck was actually Not lit. When I popped the truck it came on for a second then went out again. Before when i called the dealer they said there was a connector that runs down one of the truck arms. But when i was troubleshooting it the first time there was no easy way to get to it. But now that i know i have a loose connection. I might have to find all the connections and check them.
Still under warranty have dealer check it for definitive answer. Originates from rear SAM control unit proactively you can check connections @ tail lamp, CU, and ground points.
