Rain Sensing feature??

I recently started getting this message. I can’t find anything in the owners manual. Customer service reps were not helpful because they didn’t know about it either. I don’t see anything in the menus on my car’s (2019 E450 cab) system. Also, the message seems to be oriented to the coupe. It would be nice if I could set my convertible to close the top if it rained when I wasn’t around. Can anyone direct me to more information about this message? Thanks.

Did you purchase vehicle used reason I ask is because this is not a standard feature in MBUSA market and would need to be coded using Xentry (MB diagnostics) development mode of which dealerships do not normally have or are unwilling to access. I suggest directing your question to BenzNinja (Peter): https://mbworld.org/forums/private.p...newpm&u=449763

It's discussed in the manual. Open the PDF of the manual and search (CTRL+F) for "rain closing function."

Noted in coupe manual (not cabriolet) & pertains to panoramic roof.

Thanks all!
I bought the car new. It had been used (2,400 mi) by MB at their Georgia hq. I never saw this message before. A light rain while it was in the driveway two weeks ago was the first message but I don’t recall the exact wording.
I’ll follow up on your suggestions.

If you find a great answer for this please share. I'd love the ability to control both the soft top and AC settings through the app but they seem to have left that out...

I get this message on our new 2022 cabriolet. Curious as well.

I started getting it when the new Mercedes me connect app got updated and I re-subscribed services. It looks like it gives me the option to close the windows remotely but I don’t see functionality for the convertible top
