Boot unlocks but Dosnt swing open

Hi and thank you in advance for any help. I currently purchased a e class A238 cabriolet 2019. I’m currently having issues with my boot(trunk) where it opens but Dosnt swing up as it should.
I have the option to kick open but seems pointless as the boot dosnt swing up.
I’ve looked at the mechanism and there is no fault to be seen.
it is a mechanical boot not automatic.

Have a look at the manual in section Activating/deactivating the trunk lid opening height restriction to see if this may resolve your issue.

because it’s a mechanic boot there is no option for boot hight ect in settings

I have appointment at dealership next week to investigate. This will be my 3rd visit for different trunk/boot issues in first 3 years of ownership.

oh no this is not good must be a problem with our model.
please let me know if you find a solution or I might need to be following suit and in with the dealer 🤦🏼‍♂️

Sorry for the dela in getting back. Dealership fixed my problem which they said was a failed spring on the left side of the boot/trunk. I asked if it would make sense to replace spring on the right at the same time and they said there is no spring on the right, just the left. All is working as expected now. Hopefully this is the last of my trunk problems with this car.
