300TD 1981 Manila Beige

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to this forum and would like to share some pictures of my 1981 300td. This vehicle was purchased by my father in Canada back in 1981. I used the car through college in California before taking it home to the Philippines. I have tried to maintain this 29 year old vehicle the best way I can. In fact, it is still a daily driver.

That is Light Ivory.

oh, is it light ivory? we purchased it as "manila beige". i always thought it was that color. it may be "light ivory" as you mentioned.

it could also be the lighting.

Unfortunately, the odometer stopped at 259,000 kilometers 13 years ago. I'm sure if the odometer was still working, I would have easily racked up more than 750,000 kilometers.

The VIN tag on the radiator support beside the hood latch should confirm whether it's Light Ivory (code 623) or Manila Beige (681).

As I've said before, this is a beautiful estate. Tasteful mods too.

it says 681H - therefore, it's manila beige.

nice wagon, that's still my dream car, its very elusive and rare here in cebu, many are just 4drs sedans, i really wish i could have a wagon, even a gas one will do. hi karugs,

Nice TD, looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, the dash is impeccable, I've looked at two sedans in the past few days and only wish I could find one in that shape.

Yes, Very nice. Almost looks exactly like mine.
Thanks for the advice karugs on the VIN tag. I was thinking, wow, Looks exactly like my color and I thought mine was Manila Beige too. I'll have to check that tag now.

Oh, yes, and love the cargo net. SO hard to find. I'm beginning to think it may just be impossible.
