need help just got a 1977 w123 280ce euro ver
hi folks, i need advice on my 280ce, it has been unused for 3years, got it for US $400, everything is complete except for the air cleaner which he forget to put back when he had a minor break down along the hichway,
my question is do you think i whould try to repair the m110 engine or be better of converting to a 617 diesel, i dont have an idea on how to fix an m110,and they tell me parts are costly and hard to come by, i have not tried to fire up the m110, and suggestions to what i should do will be greatly appreciated, i have other benzs as well, i own a 1967 250s w108, 1985 300d w123 turbod, 1985 300sd w126 turbod, 1994 s600 w140, and a 1997 e230 w210, its my first time to have an m110 ,

Just saw you live on the Philippines. Well, you'll probably still have junk yards there. Or get a second car of the same type and merge them into one. I have done that with VW beetles.

hi, yup im from the philippines, and yes there are junkyards here but mostly japanese cars, im so glad today i installed a battery and the engine was ready to start very strong cranking, i need to try an outside fuel pump and a gas tank made of plastic bottle as im sure the fuel tank is full of rust and grime, i hope my car fires up tomorrow, and i have decoded my car its an 84 model not a 77, that explains why my headlights are square. , if the car starts up, i will be keeping this 280ce as is and not go through a diesel engine swap

hi i need a fuel pump, fuel filter, the air cleaner assembly, the car has started but i directly put drops of fuel on the intake, it will stop as soon as the gas dries up, the fuel pump still runs but im sure its not giving the needed psi to open up the injectors
