My Car Got Dyno'd! (Pictures & Videos)

So, I went to the AMG BBQ/Dyno meet saturday and got the chance to dyno my car. So I figured I'd just share the pictures and videos I took of my car with all of you.

Here's the picures:

Here are some picture in the parking structure when we went to go eat afterwards:

Here's the video. It's 30.8MB and include two videos.

Use This One First: http://s4.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1W...N34P1AC4C113TC

Enjoy.

Here are pictures from the whole GTG.

Dang, that's pretty slow. I'll upload it to a faster website right now. It's the website, I'm download it right now and I'm getting 3.24KB!

the numbers were embarassing but not bad.

I think my car came stock with 177HP with 182 lb/torque

I pulled a pathetic...
max power: 139.52
max torque: 151.86

looks like I have some replacing to do and tune ups!

The car next to mine isn't a W124. It's my friend Sean's W201. 2.3 16V. Definately a nice car!

The numbers aren't embarrassing at all. Your car probably came with 177 at the crank, not at the wheels. Figuring a 18-20% drive-line loss (power that you lose from from the flywheel to the wheels puts the original RWHP at just over 140 (141.6). Taking that into consideration, your car is running right around stock. A tune up will definitely help ;0)

Totally true Josh. I'm not really embarrassed, it's just rather surprising.

Precisely. For a car that's well over 10 years old, those are pretty good numbers.

When you have the hood open, there's a small catch on the right hinge (I'm pretty sure it's the right hinge on that car). Pushing that catch will allow the hood to open to a vertical position.

Don't worry about the numbers Chris. Our cars were never meant to tear up the streets. The only reason we're here is cuz people like us value our cars despite how ordinary or everyday they may seem. And trust me, your numbers are a lot better than some kid who thinks they can pull 160 hp in their riced out CRX or Civics. W124s are a nice, balanced, and classy package, thats where our bragging starts.

Chris,

Keep in mind you do have holes you said in your exhaust. That alone would lose HP.
